From a very young age creative & visual arts were clearly my passion. I could often be found drawing, painting, making, sewing, writing and designing.
Over the years I have ensured that creative arts were part of my everyday life wherever possible, whether that was within my employed work or through the artwork I did in my spare time. As well as creating artworks in oil, acrylic, tempera, pastel and pencil, I have also sold ceramic works in both the UK and France. Alongside my own artwork, I have also managed other artists and carried out freelance editing for numerous web sites, books and other publications & professional scripts.
Fortunately, I have also been able to maintain this consistent connection with Creative Arts throughout my career in the Education sector, which included both teaching and managing within areas such as; Art & Design, Fashion & Textiles, Visual Arts, Ceramics, Photography, Jewellery Making & Silversmithing, Painting & Decorating and Interior Design, IT, Media & Gaming, Performing Arts & Dance, Hair & Beauty, Floristry and Fine Furniture…

I have also carried out a number of consultancy & design projects to create new builds and refurbish specific spaces to allow for dedicated, creative curriculum areas to be formed for many UK Colleges in locations such as Bournemouth & Poole, Oxford and London, as well as the development of the first Regional Academy of Contemporary Music, now Bournemouth Academy of Modern Music (BAMM) – the education arm of the Absolute Music Solutions Ltd retail group.
In 2017-18 I carried out a role as ‘Premium Artist in Residence’ at the Centro de Artes, in Mijas, Spain, where I held the post of Vice President for the Association for 5 years until 2022.
I now do less executive contracts in order to allow more time to focus on my art and commission work and as such, have been developing a new collection of works to promote next year. I currently have collectors of my art works in Europe, Australia, Asia and America and continue to work mainly from the UK, France, Spain and Australia.
